Welcome to my first post!
I’m Alex and excited to be bringing EW Scope to the world. If you are wondering what ‘EW’ is short for, it’s ‘Extended Workforce’ and I’m hoping you all understand what I mean by scope? If you don’t, well from my perspective scope is probably the most important element of setting up any solutions to manage your Extended Workforce. Without ensuring you really evaluate and understand what you are creating, you will for sure set yourself up for some potential big failures along the way. And even if you do, it’s all about being mindful of these points and correcting your scope to bring you back on the right track.
Over the last 20 years I have been exposed to some outstanding examples of quality Extended Workforce management, but also a fair share of programs that never got to the value that was expected. And it won’t surprise you to hear that on reflection a very high percentage of these were due to under estimating the value of a quality scope of work.
My core aim, by creating EW Scope, is to help educate those that need support with their management of scope throughout the Extended Workforce Journey. As well as providing my direct services and expertise, I will endeavour to post useful content over the coming weeks and months that focuses specifically on all things Extended Workforce Scope.
